Tribes "Big In Japan"
When my good friend Ajit Jaokar saw our mobile content discovery tool Tribes for the first time, his comments was "This is solving a problem a lot of MNO's don't know they have ....yet!". This got us thinking (happens sometimes) and we thought: well where is the most advanced mobile market in the world? Let's sell Tribes there! There is a lot (really a lot) of excellent Japanese mobile content sites out there but how does Tanaka-san on the Shibuya high road find it?
So the wheels were put in motion and all the activity culminated this week, when alatto signed a distribution agreement in Tokyo with a distribution partner U-bit. This has resulted in a lot of press coverage in Japan in journals such as ITmedia and Keitai Watch.
