downloadable application runs on the customers PC and provides
the customer with a simple interface that is exceptionally
user friendly. The interaction with the tool revolves around
building a sequence of images that are linked together on
a timeline to form a slide show. The slide show can be as
simple as a single static image or can involve animation and
sound. It can get as complex as the customer wishes to go.
The
customer can upload their own content, including scanned pictures,
images from digital camera, text, sound clips as well as access
galleries of content provided by third parties or directly
by an operator or portal. The Composer integrates with the
Alatto Memphis Media Album product so generated content can
be automatically stored for the user. The user can then later
retrieve and view the content via web or WAP and send it on
as MMS or email.

Once
content has been loaded the customer can perform a number of
advanced image manipulation functions, including rotate, flip,
reverse, text over, crop, cut, zoom.
The
user interface for the Composer had been designed to support
different skin with brand owner specific logos and look and
feel. Sample skins for the tool are illustrated below.
As the Memphis Composer can run as a downloaded application
customers don’t need to be online to work on their content.
Once the customer has finished building their MMS message they
have the options of saving it to their media album, sending
it as an MMS or email or exporting it for upload to their own
handset.
The
Composer is also available as a Java applet that can reside
on an operator or ISP portal. |
