Vodafone launches new multimedia services powered by Alatto

Dublin, Ireland – 10th March 2005

Vodafone customers are now be able to get the latest Celebrity Gossip Picture Alerts to their phones thanks to the Alatto value added service platform.

Alatto technologies today announces that the newly launched Vodafone Ireland Picture Alerts service is provided by the Alatto value added service platform.

Picture Alerts provide a rich new experience for phone users. Instead of short text summaries, consumers now have colour pictures, slides, animations, sound and even video pushed to the phone. This adds a complete new dimension to keeping in touch with the latest celebrity news or following your favourite Premiership team in the closing stages of the season.

A whole array of new services are now available to Vodafone customers in Ireland. The Celebrity Gossip service will keep you entertained, top Premiership club news is now indispensable for the fan and a new Rugby package will allow you to keep informed on progress of Munster and Leinster. The Alatto platform automatically uploads content feeds and transforms them into MMS messages and ensures delivery to the subscriber handset.
